Thunder Bay Repair Café event attracts residents with household fix-it goods and chance to share skills

Events are planned every 3 months, with next one in the works for late October

The Thunder Bay Repair Café held its second event in partnership with the Thunder Bay Public Library, attracting people with goods needing some TLC while encouraging the sharing of fix-it skills.

Held at the Mary J.L. Black branch, the event on Saturday in the northwestern Ontario city allowed residents to come together for a day and reduce waste by repairing household items, including lamps, textiles and electronics.
