Thunder Bay police respond to serious motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian

Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service responded to a serious collision last night involving a pedestrian.

Emergency services responded to the incident after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, the Thunder Bay Police said in a news release issued shortly before 9 p.m.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious injuries, according to police.

A CBC News reporter observed the area between Surplus Furniture and Mattress Warehouse and Badanai Motors Ltd. on Memorial Avenue blocked off by police.
