Hattie's Cove, which serves as Pukaswa National Park's primary canoe launch, has been closed for recreational use since August 11, after a blue-green algae bloom was reported to park staff. But paddles, canoes and life jackets will likely be prominent sights at the cove in the final weekend of August if no more blooms are reported.
